Wendy Scheel has been an owner and baker at Great Harvest for the past 37 years, beginning in Redmond and then at her store in Bellevue/Factoria for the past 20 years. Her daughter Courtney is also a big part of the team that makes GH Bellevue so special. They sincerely enjoy giving back to the community by donating fresh, wholesome baked goods for many worthwhile events in the region, including Cycle & Walk the WAVE. “The WAVE Foundation’s mission is so vital, and so very important to the community” states Wendy. In the past several years WAVE participants have been able to sample their fabulous baked rolls and cookies at the Spiritridge Park rest stop.
What makes Great Harvest bread so delicious, so tasty and so very, very addictive you may wonder? It’s all in the flour as each Great Harvest location Stone grinds Montana whole wheat flour onsite at the bakery; adding only pure and wholesome ingredients to each item they create. This past Thanksgiving week Great Harvest sold 3000 packs of dinner rolls alone…so if you want to pick up their signature Cinnamon Chip Christmas tree or legendary German style Stollen Bread, get your orders in soon!
Special Thanks to Wendy and our many other valued food sponsors who help us serve up the best ride support food in the region.
