8th Annual Cycle the WAVE Ride!

September 20th, 2015

Registration is now open- register before May 31st for the best savings of the year!

Cycle the WAVE (Women Against Violence Everywhere), is a fully supported, non-competitive, all-women’s cycling event. It is a venue created for women of all ages and fitness levels to experience camaraderie, increase awareness of domestic violence through visibility and to raise funds for domestic violence programs across Washington State.

The first ride in 2008 generated 233 riders and by 2013 participation had grown to 1,206 women riders of all ages. In 2015, we anticipate hosting 1400 women cyclists!  And thanks to our riders, volunteers and supporters, The event has raised over $800,000 since 2008. This money goes directly back into Domestic Violence related agencies and non-profits.

So get your friends together and consider starting a fun team – you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to raise money through our awesome no-pressure fundraising program, especially now with our NEW Team Captain’s Tool Box. Of course you can opt just to pay the low flat registration fee and just ride… but you would miss out on some of the most rewarding aspects of the event. It’s all about the power of women supporting each other,  and then giving back to the community.

Jersey on Deborah & SharonWhen registering you will have the opportunity of purchasing the 2015 Cycle the WAVE jersey and arm warmers!  You can still purchase without going through the registration process here.
